Everything starts with design. The things we use, the spaces we move through, the objects we consume were all designed at some point.

As designers we’re taught to use human-centered approaches, to consider how something functions, how it’s perceived and how it can influence behavior. But often, we’re not taught to consider how it’s made, where it comes from and where it ends up.

We want to help create a future where everything is designed with a life cycle thinking approach, beyond the ‘use’ phase, designed in a way where materials can flow through multiple cycles while maintaining their value.

We’ve spent 10 years scouring the internet and doing post-grad courses, workshops and masterclasses in search of industry-relevant knowledge on how to design for the circular economy - it shouldn’t be that hard.

That’s why we created Circular Design Club, so designers can access the tools and methodologies that can be applied to their design practice with confidence.
